I just learned that these existed today. Apparently George Lucas sold the drama rights for one dollar per movie to KUSC-FM; the public radio affiliate of his alma mater, the University of Southern California. Nige L on YouTube has edited all the episodes together to make the movies complete and added music and sound effects from the corresponding movies. I have been listening to the Dramatization of A New Hope and so far am very impressed and intrigued. Some of the extra material is straight from George Lucas as they are part of deleted scenes from “a new hope.” The Drama is 4 hours long so there has to be scads of extra info. Having never read the novelizations I wonder how they would compare. I wonder if MR. Theory himself knows about these?
