Please take this theory with a grain of Sand 😉
I just love talking about all things Star Wars.Is there more to Sand than being coarse, rough, and irritating ???
Maybe Sand is a shrouding protector for Force Sensitives being hidden away for their safety…Like Anakin & Luke on Tattoine. And then later Rey being hidden away on Jakku. Then there is The Child a.k.a. Baby Yoda.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot…Like a lot a lot. Too much some would say LOLing. I say.
Palpatine manipulated Shmi Skywalker’s pregnancy. Anakin & his potential force strength was a great back up plan for a host body for Palpatine to transfer his consciousness when eventually needed. Anakin was Palpatine’s ‘Chosen One’ to inhabit. The perfect vessel body strong with the force. Custom made. Was the Sand of Tattoine cloaking Anakin from being sensed by others looking for Force Sensitives? Also, being a lowly ***** boy with no chance of promotion in his life station was convenient as well. I think that was Palpatine’s plan for Anakin.
Qui-Gon Jinn accidentally happening upon Anakin on Tattoine whilst looking for parts to repair their ship ruined that plan for Palpatine to inhabit the boy.Baby Luke was another missed opportunity for Palpatine to ****** up another vessel strong with the force. But Luke was taken to the very Sandy Tattoine to be raised by his Aunt & Uncle.
That I think would be the ultimate irony. In this theory, Palpatine stowed Anakin away on Tattoine for safe keeping for later use. Luke in turn was hidden on the same planet. Shrouded by the same Sand! Then there is Rey’s childhood planet.
Rey was hidden on Sand Planet of Jakku for protection from Palpatine by her parents.
Her father knowing she would be safe there. Knowing the Sand would keep her safe ???
Safe from her Grandfather’s search for her. For what we now know was a search for her to use as a host body for Palpatine & the Sith to rise to power once more. Also, Palpatine had a Jakku Observatory with Sith Relics…among other things.
Did Sand hide the Sith artifacts there from their enemy the Jedi?
Wouldn’t that be another ironic twist of fate? Rey & Palpatine’s Observatory cloaked by the same Sand on Jakku. Finally, Baby Yoda was also found captive on a desert Sandy planet called Arvala-7.
Was that also a failed attempt to cloak the child from others wanting to find this extremely Force Sensitive being. Only to be sold out by one of the knowing captors for the promise & seduction of riches. That betrayal scenario is not too far fetched me thinks.Sand Sand Sand Sand…Is there something to it? Does it have a cloaking ability?
I do believe so.
What do y’all think?March 8, 2020 at 8:06 pm #17916Snips66ParticipantI think that’s a really neat idea. I like how it ties in the fact that the major heroes of all three trilogies were raised on desert planets. It would be cool if it was more than a coincidence. Especially because of the possible involvement with palpatine and baby Yoda being a possible clone and all. It would make sense that palpatine continually hides force-sensitive beings he’s created on planets he knows will conceal them. It’s an interesting thing to think about.

I really do believe there is something to it.
Oh that Sand !!! LOLingMarch 8, 2020 at 10:06 pm #17918Mainor the MandoParticipantThat is an interesting one. Since the force flows through everything the sand could kind of cause sensing those who reside in it to have a form of interference from being detected.
