In my opinion, luke should have appeared in front of kylo/ben just before he died and seen what they had to say to each other. Because now in Luke’s heart he has lost ben solo forever, unless their force ghosts meet. What does anyone else have to say about this?
Totally agree with you their. I understand we all know, and have acknowledged this, but the treatment of luke was horrendous! I think that would’ve made for a good redemption to Luke to be seen as a force ghost.
Talking about Luke at all in regards to sequels makes me upset. He’s my favorite character and, as we all know, he was absolute garbage in the last Jedi. I think having Luke see Ben before he died would have been cool. But on the other hand I feel like he knows that Ben was redeemed. I mean, Luke is a force ghost, and when obiwan and Yoda were force ghosts, hey seemed to know everything that was going on. So hopefully Luke knows
It would have been cool to have a few Force Ghost visit Kylo. I think Luke would have showed up and apologized for failing him as his master. Leia (I know this could have never made the movie b/c of the death of Carrie Fisher) appear to him and basically tells him that she still loves him regardless of what he has done. Lastly Anakin should have talked to him. Let him know that although he may be afraid to turn back to the light, feeling unworthy due to some of the things he has done, it is never too late to turn away from the dark and towards the light. Let him know that you must atone for your past but you are who you choose to be in the future. I think following these three encounters he should have emerged as Ben Solo again.
100% would have made a great part of his story. They could have all also showed up with Han Solo and make a nice scene there.
