I know Snoke is created and controlled by Palpatine but if you were in charge of the story how would you change his origins.
March 22, 2020 at 8:52 pm #18236Mainor the MandoParticipantI think it would have been cool if Snoke was an apprentice of Darth Plagueis. He believed he was ready to overthrow Plagueis and decides to take his own apprentice Palpatine. Darth Plagueis finds out and pits Palpatine vs Snoke and Palpatine wins. He scars Snoke and leaves him to die. Scarred and weak he plans to get revenge on Palpatine in a moment of weakness. It was his presence that Palpatine noticed in the unknown regions and planned to take care of with Vader. Due to the Rebellion and destruction of the Deathstars Palpatine was not able to face off with Snoke. After the “death” of Palpatine, Snokes begins to plot to take over all that was once Palpatine’s

May 28, 2020 at 3:29 pm #19366Snips66ParticipantI think Snoke being a clone of palpatine, or at least controlled by him in some way, is a neat idea. I wasn’t unhappy with that, but I would change the way they did it. It kinda seemed like they didn’t have a plan in mind with him until the ninth movie and they were like “well, we’ll sum it up in the first five minutes of the movie.” I feel it was a really wasted concept. They could have done a lot with the “who is Snoke” thing and had some huge climactic reveal that showed it was really palpatine the whole time. Waiting til the last movie to introduce palps was a bad move because they had to cram so much in. Cool concept, just poorly done. The eighth movie really should have dealt with the snoke thing and introduced Palps, giving us enough time for a satisfying ninth movie conclusion instead of one that felt rushed. I don’t want to start a bashing of TLJ, because I’m tired of the petty split amongst star wars fans and the hate thrown from each side, but I just think more important things could have been addressed in it than freeing horses or pointless drama with Holdo or even a **** Luke.

I know that this is a post about what fans would want Snoke to be, but I think Disney is expanding on his origin. In the Mandalorian Chapter Twelve, the Mandalorian discovers a laboratory where they used Grogu’s “baby yoda’s” blood to create experiments. My theory about who Snoke is, is that Snoke is a clone of a clone of a human injected with midichlorians.
