Yoda’s Lightsaber in the Book of Boba Fett

I have a theory about Yoda’s lightsaber Luke had in the Book of Boba Fett –

Yoda lost his saber in his duel with Palpatine and it is very unlikely that it was not found and destroyed after Order 66. The Clone Troopers were doing an exhaustive search of the senate chamber to find Yoda and they would have come across the lightsaber at some point.

I think Yoda constructed a new Lightsaber in preparation for training Luke and that Luke kept it after Yoda died to remember his Master.

So in this case the now Legends’s story and the new Disney cannon might both be true, From a certain point of view….
