While I’ve been working on extremely comprehensive workout/nutrition guides for you guys, I want to put them on hold until we’ve come out on the other side of this COVID19 situation. Because you’re all stuck at home, I thought I’d quickly put together FREE at-home workout info that you can utilize in the mean time.
With the spread of COVID-19, people worldwide are either stuck indoors through self-quarantine, or practicing social distancing in an effort to mitigate the spread of the disease. While being stuck at home under quarantine can make it easier than ever to sit around your house all day- it isn’t productive, and it isn’t healthy. Now more than ever is the time to ensure that your body is in tip top shape, and we should be mindful of the correlation between being overweight and the diseases mortality rates. Working out is such an integral part of our lives- whether it’s an outlet for stress relief, a way to release endorphins, or a way to temporarily shut off and disengage. You should never forgo the importance of fitness under any circumstances.
Because of all of this, I thought that I would provide you with some at-home fitness options that will allow you to continue your workout regimes, and keep you in shape while your favourite fitness studio or gym is closed. I’m not reinventing the wheel, these are just some at-home options that you can utilize to ensure that all of your muscle groups are still firing, and that your heart is still pumping.
I’m going to be supplying you with a comprehensive list of at-home exercises, categorized by body part. From this master list, you can pick and choose which exercises suit you.
To help a wider audience, I’ve also separated the exercised based on the equipment that is available to you:
–No Equipment
–Basic Equipment (Dumbbells, bands, maybe a bench etc.)
–Outdoor Gym Equipment (Jungle gym or proper outdoor gym)
You can mix and match from all categories- depending on what you have access to. At the end of the exercise list there are instructions for how you can build your own routine!
